Jersey City, NJ-- Senior Mike Sidoti hit a three-run homerun with two out in the ninth inning, to propel the Marist College baseball team to a 7-5 win over Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Saint Peter's this afternoon. The Red Foxes have now won four straight games, and swept the three-game regular season series from the Peacocks.

Marist trailed 5-4 in the top of the ninth, when Sidoti came to the plate with two already out. His homerun made a winner out of pitcher George Heath, as Marist improved to 4-2 in MAAC play. Chris Homer tossed a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save for the Red Foxes, who are now 11-8 overall on the year.

The Red Foxes return to action on Wednesday, April 2nd, when they host Hartford in a 3:00 pm game at the McCann Baseball Field. Marist will open home MAAC play this weekend, hosting Rider, in a double-header on Saturday and a single, nine-inning game on Sunday, with action starting at noon on both days.
